Lundi Lagniappe {9}

Welcome to Lundi Lagniappe, where we do mini-reviews of the books we think you would like to know about.  🙂

City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare-Clary & Jace are finally free of the lie that they’re sister and brother, you’d think it would be smooth sailing, but oh no.  It’s always something. This book was utterly depressing.  Now I am super-anxious to know what happens in City of Fallen Angels.  3.5/5

Underworld by Meg Cabot-I don’t know what it is about the middle book in a series, but they are generally under par.  Pierce was very irritating in this book.  Not a lot happened.  I was underwhelmed. 3/5

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green-Beautifully written story of a terminally ill girl who falls in love.  I cried. Definitely a reread.  5/5

 Stolen by Lucy Christopher (audiobook) – Eh, I’m a little confused by this one.  I liked the story, LOVED the accents but it feels funny to admit to liking anything about someone being kidnapped.  It’s an interesting POV that is for sure.  3/5

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (Part Deaux) – Sad, romantic, hilarious. 4/5

The Disenchantments by Nina Lacour – Interesting read, definitely read this the week I needed too.  A great book, a lot about music, more about learning to be independent.  Stop talking and start doing!! 4/5
