Top 10 Tuesday #88

Top 10 Sequels I am dying to get my hands on

1.  Cress and Winter by Marissa Meyer (Lunar Chronicles #3 & #4) — I am obsessed with this series.

2.  The House of Hades and The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan (Heroes of Olympus #4 & 5) — I cannot wait to see how it all works out in the end.

3.  City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare (Mortal Instruments #6) — I hope this series has a happy ending.

4.  Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor (Daughter of Smoke & Bone #3) — Ditto this one.

5.  Surrender to Sultry by Macy Beckett (Sultry Springs #3) — I actually have this, but I need to find time to read it!

6.  Waiting on You by Kristan Higgins (Blue Heron #3) — More fun in Manningsport, NY.

7.  Takedown Twenty by Janet Evanovich (Stephanie Plum #20) — I love this series, even if it is predictable, it’s still fun.

8.  Going Rogue by Robin Benway (Also Known As #2) — Looking forward to more adventures!

9.  The Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson (Shades of London #3) — I have a theory about where it’s going and I cannot wait to find out if I’m right.

10.  The Rules for Breaking by Ashley Elston (The Rules for Disappearing #2) — I was so happy to find that this was a series.

I am sure I forgot something…what are the sequels you’re looking forward to?

You guys read a LOT of series! I need to start taking recommendations for the ones that are trilogies. I can’t incorporate a 10-book series (sorry to Tammy and the “Princess Diaries”) right now.

OMG, i love a series. the more books the better. only my one wish would be that all the books are published at the same time so i don’t have to wait.

I forgot to include Going Rogue! I’m so excited for that one (and more Jesse Oliver, Maggie and Roux). I requested it from Netgalley, but my request is still pending.

Yes yes yes to Cress and City of Heavenly Fire! They are both on my list as well. And I need to read the Heroes of Olympus series. I love Percy Jackson.

I just started the Heroes of Olympus series a few weeks ago & I am loving it. I have Going Rogue from NG and can’t wait to get to it. They are pretty arbitrary sometimes about approving requests. I just had a request finally approved and the book has already been published. sheesh.

DREAMS OF GODS AND MONSTERS. I am so FREAKING excited for that one! *flails* I wonder if it’ll have a happy ending… I mean, we ARE talking about Laini Taylor, so it’s probably very beautiful and extremely heartbreaking…

yes, i want a happy ending, but i know realistically that it’s probably not possible. i am still kind of reeling from two deaths in the last book.

I have been seeing The Lunar Chronicles on so many lists, I have Cinder and Scarlet sitting on my bookshelves waiting to be read. I am going to have to get to them soon as I am hearing nothing but amazing things about this series.

    Great list. My TTT.
